Giving the Passionate Thanks

At the end of November, the Americans will be celebrating their Day of Thanksgiving. Even a humble mink such as I, Ramón the Mink of Love, must be stopping and paying attention. After all, sometimes it is seeming like this life, it is going too quickly. You stop to catch your breath, and another Potential Lover has been disappearing, never to be Tempting you again. And yet, sometimes it is good to be reflecting on the Blessings in one's life. And so I am asking you, what are you Thankful for?

Clint* in California is Thankful for his stunning good looks. “I have to say, I'm the most beautiful person for miles around,” he says modestly. “Some people have to spend hours getting ready each day, but not me. You can't get get this face in a bottle, baby!” But do his looks matter really when it really Counts? “Sure,” he says. “Every night I go to a different bar or coffee shop, and I'm always out of there within five minutes with a couple of hotties on my arms. Sometimes I don't even make it that far! Once I was just standing there waiting for the bus, when this gorgeous lady came up to me and offered herself to me right there! It's great being me!”

Meanwhile, Dyana in London is feeling Blessed to have landed a great new job. “I was unemployed for so long, that I was beginning to feel like I'd live in my parents' flat forever. But then I found work as a secretary in a law office, even though I can barely type. It's wonderful! Mr. Wood says that he noticed something special about me when he interviewed me. All I've got to do is make coffee, type up a memo every few days, and suck him off whenever he needs it.” And she is truly happy with her new Position. “Sometimes Mr. Wood even lets another one of the girls in the office join in! Lots of people are really pessimistic and say their dreams will never come true. Well, just look at me!”

Sometimes, it is the little things for which one is most grateful. Troy in Vancouver is Thankful for the new bar that's opened up in his neighborhood. “It's this great little place that's a real meat market. Everyone's there for just one thing, and they ain't gonna go home until they get it!” But if the Concupiscent Competition is so much, how is he making himself stand out? “Easy,” he replies. “They're not really checking people that closely at the door, so I'm always sure to be showing off the goods. Sometimes a really low cut shirt works to be revealing my manly pecs. But other times I go for broke and let Little Troy peep out just above my belt. I can always be sure that some girl will be picking me up then.”

At other times the Throes of Ecstasy may taking us across the globe, such as they did for Erynn from Wisconsin. She's Grateful to be the exchange student in Europe, learning about the new cultures and customs there. “The men over here are so different than Americans,” she gushes. “They smell different, taste different, and even feel different when they're riding inside you! Right now I'm in Helsinki, where there's only about six hours of daylight each day. I thought it'd be depressing, but you'd be surprised at how many depraved ways they have to keep the blues away!” But does she ever get homesick? “Sure I miss my boyfriend Graham, but I'm really broadening my horizons out here. Besides, he's coming to visit me soon enough, and I can't wait to introduce him to all my new lovers, and to show him all the things I've learned!”

Of course, one does not always need to be going abroad to be Finding the Passion. Last year, Dirk from Iowa was winning the college scholarship to be playing the American football at the local university, which is his reason to be Thankful. “It's all about the uniform, man. Football's really big in this town, so I just gotta walk down the street with my shoulder pads and helmet, and the babes all line up for a piece of this action! Sometimes I even have a go at the lovely young men.” But is there any time when he is failing to Catch the Fiery Fish? “Yeah, sometimes you go to a kegger, and the chick you spend your time chatting up decides to go home with some other guy. But that's okay, 'cause Coach has got my back. He knows that we play better when our mind's on the game, so he's always willing to find some tail for us.”

But you don't need to be the young Olympian to be finding the Amour. Genevieve in New York is most Grateful for what all of us are having—the friends and the family. “We're all really supportive of each other, which is especially important at this time of year. I mean, all my friends have slept with each other, so we know each other really well. And if I need someone new for the night, I can almost always count on my mom or my sister to set me up with some young stud that she knows. With people like these around me, I'll never be lonely!”

And perhaps that is being the most important lesson here. All of us are Having something Special, something for which we are perhaps not showing just how grateful we are. So as the holidays are approaching us, take this moment to be Giving your Thanks to all who are Important to you. And be sure to not stop until they are Satisfied.
