The Rapturous Resolutions
At last, the year 2005 is upon us. Like many of you, I Ramón the Mink of Love try to make the New Year's Resolution each January. After all, I may be suave and delicate, but I am not a perfect mink. Every year, there is some regret, some young raven-haired beauty or muscle-bound stud that I did not Love. So now is the time to be dedicating myself to looking forward, to be making myself into the More Perfect Mustelid! Here are some of my tips for the Resolutions of your own.It is never ceasing to amaze me how many people are making the bad Resolutions for the New Year. People, it is seeming, are wanting nothing more than to be making the tons of money, landing the new promotion, or paying off all of their debt. Why? The money, it is only the little green pieces of paper! Can it ever be offering you the True Love? Can it ever be making you Sweat and Moan in your Passion? No! It is simply money! You must be forgetting all of these things at once!
Then there are those who are simply making a Resolution to be Seeking Out the Love. This is a fine idea, but in order to make it work you must be Fleshing it out a little bit. Where are you going to seek the Love? In the park? At the office? On the subway? When will you be making time for it? Are you going to be aiming for the Quantity or the Quality? If the former, how many times were you Making Love this last year? Do you think you can be doubling this number? Tripling it? And if you are going for the Quality, how will you be measuring this? (Personally, I Ramón the Mink of Love am using the Richter Scale.) There is so much to be considering, and you cannot be unprepared!
Of course, there are many other perfectly good Resolutions as well. Lest you think that I am a one track mink, I will now be discussing some of them. Many people, they are resolving to be spending more time with their friends and their family. I, Ramón the Mink of Love, think that this is an excellent idea. After all, how else can you be getting them to be understanding the Loving Way of Life that you are leading? Next time you are going to an orgy, bring your mother with you. After all, maybe she will be having fun! And when you are needing that special Massager or videotape, bring your grandfather or uncle with you! He'll probably be knowing many of the facets of Love from an earlier age, that you may have missed.
he New Year is also a good time to be Experimenting and trying new things. Have you been curious about the bondage or the whipped cream, but always afraid to be trying it? Have you always wanted to try the Gay Love, but not known where to begin? Well, there is being no time like the present! Promise to yourself that this is the year you will finally be crossing over, into the realms of the New and Kinky!
Many are also pledging that this is the time to exercise, and to be getting in shape. Remember, there is no better way to burn those calories than with the Continuous Acts of Love! With just the boring, vanilla Love, you may be burning as many as 10,000 calories each day! Now, imagine if you are Sharing your Passions while lifting the weights, doing the gymnastic routine, or running the marathon! You will achieve the leaner, toner you in no time!
Most of us don't read as much as we are wanting to. Pick out some books for the coming year, such as The Joy of Sex or the complete Students' Annotated Kama Sutra, or maybe just those old back issues of Playboy. Try to read a few pages each day. You'll be glad you did!
This is also a good time to be less critical of others. After all, how often has it happened that you have walked down the street and seen the overweight woman pass you by? Instead of comparing her to the curvaceous bovine, you should be looking at the world through her eyes. How many times has she tried to lose weight, but not been able to? How often has the world looked her by, ignoring the Sensitive and Alluring Woman within? Take her there, and let her Inner Beauty Flow outward, for all to be seeing!
This is also the good time to be doing more Sharing. After all, how many people are liking the greedy, conniving miser? And how often are you really needing that Significant Other? Let him or her go, to be Exploring and Cavorting and otherwise finding new ways to be Loving! Many others will be thanking you for your Generosity.
And speaking of the Generosity, you should always be remembering that there are many people out there who are less fortunate than you are. Next time a person on the street is asking you for some spare change, you should be Giving the Gift that keeps on Coming! Pull him into the back alley without a word and Give to him your body! There are few finer feelings that you can get than that of Pleasuring the homeless.
So remember, the new year is here! When 2005 has come to an end, how many regrets will you have? How many Lost Loves? Make that Resolution now, and watch your Life of Love turn around!♥
