Valentine's Day Ventures
Ah, the February! Those of you who are reading this web site every month are knowing that February is the favorite month of I, Ramón the Mink of Love. Why is this? February is being the month of Romance and Desire! It is the month when all are forgetting their lives of mundanity for just a little bit, and Unleashing the Passionate Beast within! The Love, it is in the air!Of course, all of this is Climaxing on the 14th, with the Day of St. Valentine. How will you be celebrating this day? Will you be alone with the Lover, taking the Long Walk on the Beach at the Sunset? Will you be having the Picnic of Lust out in the woods? Or will you be spending the entire day in the Bedroom with your many Paramours, Gasping and Grinding and Groaning?

Of course, not all of the Amour is happening at the place of work. There are plenty of other locations for you to be Making the Mad, Sweet Love. Take Babette and her boyfriend Thor for example. Last year Valentine's Day was on a Saturday. We were going on a stroll through a park near my apartment, but he kept steering me over to a field where some people were playing football. It turned out that he had stayed up the entire night before, writing a love poem for me in weedkiller on the lawn. The poem was so beautiful and so intimate that I made love to him immediately right there! Best of all, the grass never really grew back all summer, so you could still read the poem in October!
Everyone has heard of the tradition of giving to one's Beloved the diamond jewelry on the Day of St. Valentine. Rayven says, I'd always wanted somebody to give me a nice diamond ring or necklace, but for some reason none of my boyfriends ever did. That was before I dated Rush. He knew exactly what I wanted. That morning I found a pair of diamond earrings outside my door. At mid-morning the delivery man came with a diamond necklace for me. When the mail came, there was a diamond ring shaped like a heart. That night he gave me a tiara literally encrusted with diamonds along with a matching sceptre! Why none of my previous loser boyfriends ever thought to do that kind of thing is totally beyond me.
The Seranading is another way to be Winning over the Woman. What woman has not cried during the movie Say Anything, when John Cusack is holding up the radio outside of the house of Ione Skye? And yet, so few men are using this technique in the Pursuit of Love. This is a shame, for it is seldom failing. Electra recalls, I thought my boyfriend Steele had forgotten all about Valentine's Day. I was sitting in my apartment by myself that night watching a movie when I thought I heard something coming from outside. He had hired an entire Mariachi band to sing to me! I was so overwhelmed that I almost didn't hear the words. Steele had written all his own lyrics, so they were singing about how they were going to caress me and pleasure me all night long! When they were done two hours later, I just had to invite them all up!
Finally, one should never be underestimating the Power of the Sensuous Delights. Aphrodite is fondly remembering one Day of St. Valentine. I'd had a really hard day at work. But when I got home I discovered a trail rose petals leading upstairs to the bathroom. Inside it was only lit by a pair of candles. There was a box of chocolates and a bubble bath all ready for me, along with a note. 'My Dearest Love, I hope that the bath is the right temperature. I love you passionately!' Of course, I hadn't met Thorne yet when he did all these things, but I knew right then that he was the man for me!
