It happened not a fortnight ago. I, Ramón the Mink of Love, was speeding along the highway in my Mink Mobile as always pursuing that most exalted of life's pleasures. My target was a young lass I had met the night before. I would have been taking her then, but alas her boyfriend was the jealous type unwilling to be sharing her with a simple mink such as myself. I got her address, and promised her I would visit her the next day to be conferring upon her my most minkly arts. As I was traveling that road I envisioned her long creamy legs, her piercing blue eyes, her small pert breasts. Surely, the hour to come would be one I would be remembering for all eternity.
Unfortunately I was being interrupted from my reverie by the flashing of lights of red and blue and the banshee wail of the police motorcycle that was behind me. Not knowing what else to do, I pulled over to the side of the road. There I waited for a minute, and then the police officer sauntered up and said to me, "Sir, do you know how fast you were going?"
Now I, Ramón the Mink of Love, am sure that many of you have been facing this very same situation at least once in your life. I must be asking, what did you do? Were you looking down in the demure fashion, and admit to your breaking of the law? Were you looking at the officer in the eye in the direct manner and trying to be convincing him or her that you were traveling at a safe speed? Or were you doing something else? And if the situation were ever to be arising again, how would you handle it?
You might be thinking it easiest to simply be accepting the citation and be driving on. But you must first be considering everything you would be losing if you were to be doing this thing. You would be sacrificing the very Passion that keeps you breathing! You would be forfeiting that very Vibrancy that makes the Life worth living! The forces of the stark banality, they are always trying to make us feel afraid and ashamed of our bodies. Do not let them be claiming one more victim!
I tell you now, there is but the one proper answer when one is finding oneself in the similar situation. You must be being proud and strong, as I, Ramón the Mink of Love, was. I looked that officer straight in his dark, proud eyes and proclaimed, "Make Love to me, Ramón the Mink of Love, and I shall be showing you how fast we can be going." I was then grabbing his manly, hairy mustache and pulling him into the car with me.
As our Passions were released, I saw in my friend's eyes that this was exactly what he had been needing to set him free. He had come to me from the rigid life of obscene hierarchy, and now I was showing him the life of True Beauty that he had never dreamed of. This is the courage of which I speak, to stand up and do what is right despite any embarrassment. The True Lover can never be shamed! As the final act of mercy, I led him back to his motorcycle and did handcuff him to that roaring beast. There I Made Love to him one last time before speeding off and leaving him there, bound and yet for the first time in the life unbound. For I am Ramón the Mink of Love, and I still had a lovely lady with whom to rendezvous. ♥
